CE PRO SOFTWARE To market or place a boat in service within the EU it must be compliant with the RCD. Professional Software for RCD Compliance MANDATORY DOCUMENTS All boats <24 m within the scope of RCD, regardless of type, size and design category, must: • Be detailed in a RCD-compliant Technical Construction File (TCF) • Be provided with a RCD-compliant Owners Manual (OM) • Be provided with a RCD-compliant Declaration of Conformity (DoC) The largest of these documents is the TCF. This describes the whole boat, its design, construction and components. It should prove on paper that the boat conforms to all the appropriate sections of all the applicable ISO standards.
